On November the 17th of 2015, Trésor Makunda held a conference for M6 employees on the topic « Disability and Performance ».
The conference was held in the premises of M6 so that the maximum of M6 employees can attend.
It’s Nathalie Renoux, journalist and TV presenter at M6, who hosted the conference with Trésor Makunda, accompanied by Sébastien Fablet, Head of Mission Handicap at M6.
After introducing himself, Trésor Makunda reversed its course and the main obstacles he encountered to successfully practice disability Athletics at the highest world level.
He then described the process he developed to become successful and get one of the best track of French Paralympic Athletics.
Trésor Makunda ended his speech by stressing the importance of teamwork, but especially what is fundamental for a person with disabilities, is to feel that his entourage trust him, that they believes in him and in the fact that he can be very effective at the highest level.
M6’s employees then continued the exchange with Trésor Makunda through questions on disability sports, its media and its professionalization.
