Maxime THOMAS, disabled table tennis world No.3 and Bronze Medalist at the Paralympic Games in Rio, took part on 18 November 2016 at the Arcelor Mittal Méditerranée in Fos-sur-Mer.
After meeting Arcelor Mittal employees on their workshops …
… MaximeTHOMAS spoke on the theme « Diversity and Performance of the company »
In particular, he responded to questions about:
– His journey.
– The main obstacles he encountered in his journey.
– The process he has put in place to succeed to become performing at the highest level worldwide while conducting a brilliant professional career.
– How his experience was transposable to the world of the company, and more particularly to a company like Arcelor Mittal.
– The way he would approach the hiring of a person with disabilities if he was a business executive.
At the end of the conference, some Arcelor Mittal Méditerranée employees were able to challenge Maxime THOMAS in table tennis and realize his exceptional level of play.
